Lars VS The Coffee Man

Evolution of the Ears

Over the past two weeks Lars' ears have undergone a huge transformation and it has been hysterical to watch. Some shepherds aren't so fortunate to have their ears stand up on their own and end up suffering undue embarrassment as their ears get taped. Not Lars!

Our good friend Rob is a professional photographer - and an amazing one at that. He snapped a few impromptu shots of us this weekend. Lars has one ear that is standing up - the other one seems to have a mind of its own!

Loving the Park

At Home

First Frisbee Lesson

We found with Max that frisbee was a great way to tire these big energetic dogs out. They need a job to do and catching the frisbee seems to be a favorite passtime. We are already making daily trips to the park as we don't have any grass or lawn to speak of up at our house, and Lars is loving it. He's a quick study...treats in the frisbee are a great way to get his attention!

The Trip Home

Lars was a champ as we drove from Rochester, Washington to Boulder via Montana and Wyoming. We had to make lots of stops to run and play, and if we waited too long Lars would remind us by biting our feet.

Meet Little Lars

My name is Lars and I am a German Shepherd Dog. I was born in Rochester, Washington at Kraftwerkk9 and I am a working and family dog. I am smart, confident, willful and very eager to learn. I live in Boulder, Colorado and can't wait to be old enough to hit the trails.
